Egg McMuffin Recipe

  • Cut the English Muffins in half and toast them in a toaster.
  • Now add two spoons of butter in a pan, and cook the Canadian bacon on both sides for 1 to 2 minutes until it’s a bit brown.
  • Spread some soft butter on both sides of the toasted English muffins.
  • Put 1 slice of Canadian bacon on the bottom half of English McMuffin.
  • Now add 1 tablespoon of butter in the same pan where you cooked the bacon and place the quart-sized canning lids (or an egg ring) with the screw side up into the pan.
  • Spray the lid with non-stick spray and crack an egg into each of the rings.
  • Break the yolk using a fork. Pour around ½ cup of water into the pan and cover it with a lid. Cook until the eggs are firm, which usually takes about two minutes.
  • Now take out the eggs from the rings and place one egg on each slice of Canadian bacon.
  • Put a slice of cheese on each fried egg.
  • Finally, add the top half of the English Muffin and your homemade egg Mcuffin is ready.
